This is the album art for a band I'm in with a buddy. We're trying to think of a new name but we're currently called aids. If you look through my 'Album Art I' project you'll see the 1st piece I made for us (I'ts the TV with a glitched out screen saying AIDS)
I saw a pic online of a werewold in a leather jacket and it made me laugh so i thought of making some kind of monster gang. unfortunatly that photo was too small and low quality to use. However! I found one of him wearing a varsity jacket so its all cool. You'll also see from another project I did that I like the creature from the black lagoon and whilst look for "gang members" i found there was a film where the creature ended up in new york or something and donned some clothes. he looks really menacing though and it reminds me of the mask from Drive for some reason.
I made this cover for a single that we recorded recently entitled 'WIZARD WIVEZ' inspired (and features a clip) from a dream a character named Rico describes in the film 'Hot-Rod'
I'd been inspired by the latest Ty Segall EP to try and figure out classic 3D and I think i actually did a good job. if you happen to have some red-cyan 3D glasses about have a look at this with them on and it appears as if each 'Wizard Wife' is on a different layer!
I'll definetly be looking into perfecting this kind of illusion as its easy to do and it looks so rad!
So 'Mary Do You Wanna' contacted me and asked me to make something for them again. This time a logo or name styling of sorts.
Again they really liked it but due to the 'y' in the "you" being lower case they asked if i could change it, I eluctantly agreed (not paid but a job for friends) however they contacted me shortly after saying they wanted to use it.
My payment was that I'll being doing their other work in the future and I get paid for those. Nice.
